Purchased this 60 in New Hampshire in December 1989, on the coldest day of the month. We drove it home, put it in the garage and it snowed for the next three days!!! So much for owning Corvettes in New England winters........ My wife 'made' me buy this for my 40th birthday. Next year I'm 50 .... wonder what she'll make me buy then........ :)
This car has over 120 k miles on it and has been in many owners' hands including a few Vermonters, at least one New hampshire-ite and now me in Massachusetts.
In 1995, my oldest son learned to 'drive stick' on this car when he was 16. Now his younger brother has his learner's permit and is just waiting to get his license next spring so that he can claim his time behind the wheel.
The car is not a hands off show car - it's a driver - that's what makes it fun....and there are 'no problems' with people going along for a ride. As the picture depicts, there's definately room for everyone even though it's only a two seater !!!
