I'm 20 years old and a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am from Rockingham, NC. My father bought this 1974 Corvette convertible in 1975, and we've had it ever since. It was my first car. I drove it throughout high school and my first year of college. It has over 92, 000 miles on the L-82 small block. I put a black canvass soft top on it and repainted it the original Classic White, but in basecoat/clearcoat, about 4 and a half years ago. The stereo is a Custom Autosound Pioneer tape deck with a Pioneer 6 disc changer. Two eight inch Kicker woofers supply the sound in the rear. It is an excellent driver and a very reliable car. It came with every option except passenger side mirror. I have the hard top too. Last May I put the American Racing chrome rallys on it. This car is my pride and joy and I plan to keep it forever.
