Submitted by: Perri Nelson - Covington, WA I saw my first corvette when I was a kid, and I've wanted one ever since. When the opportunity to buy this one came up I jumped on it. It's a 1977 (same year I graduated from high school) in very nice condition. When I bought it the license plate said "SUN-KST". I called my wife and told her I bought an orange. When I brought it home she found out what I meant. I am the 4th owner of this car. The first owner was a woman and kept it garaged. The second owner never even bothered to transfer title or registration, kept the expired tabs on and drove it with "trip permits". The third owner had the car for six days. He had always wanted one and finally his wife relented. Then, after he bought it, she changed her mind, and now it's mine. I drove it home the day I bought it. I had to leave my truck with a friend. The next day, I was on a vacation trip to Newport, OR. I had the title transferred and got the car registered, but couldn't take it on the trip. So I had the car for a week before I got to drive it again, and then I went on another trip to Canada, again without the car. Now it's my daily drive, and will be until the weather up here turns bad. Then it gets stored in the garage for the winter.
