I bought my 79 1 year ago. It took me 9 months of work to get it to tooday's look. The color of the paint is 72L red and is original to the car. I took the original motor, bored it to a 355. it is pushing about 400 BHP. It was a frame off restoration. I did all of the work my self. I never had a car I felt I could show. This year I went to the Super Chevy show, and won best in class for 68-82 class. I was amazed. My wife and I named the car "Under Dog " because it is a L48 model. A 400BHP L48. I replaced the front and rear bumpers with fiberglass and put a new road race suspension under it. If anyone needs the original parts, feel free to contact me @ scrgclark@aol.com. I have many.
