This 1984 Corvette (Automatic) located in Des Moines, Iowa has 104,000 miles on it. I'm not sure how many owners had it previously :(

It used to be "Bright Red", but 84's had a problem with the red paint turning pink, so it was painted this classy maroon color. That, combined with the gold emblems make it look different than all the others.

Eventually, my dad bought it for me a couple months after I turned 15...which was around November of '94. It had about 60,000 miles on it. Since then, I added some new wheels ('87-style) as well as fixing things as they broke over the course of driving. I drove it 4 seasons, all year round, here in Iowa... through snow and ice... the works... (it's nice knowing that I can do that with no worries of rusting/corrosion showing up).

Then, last February (middle of my senior year of high school), my father and I accidentally stumbled across a '88 Charcoal Grey vette, which has since replaced this baby. My dad also has a SkyBlue '88 Corvette.
