The car actually belongs to David's wife of 23 years, Becky. They have taken it to the dragstrip one time and it ran the 1/8 mile in 8.83 seconds at 80 mph with a good 60 foot time of 1.96.
Footnote: David works at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, operating the scoreboard during the 500 and Brickyard 400!
