After having owned a 64 (project car!), an 87 daily driver, I am now driving this 98 pewter metallic coupe. It is a Z51 6 spd with all options except selective ride control (F45). It was purchased off a dealers lot by while I was looking for a newer (94/95) to replace my 87. I was shocked to see a 6 spd during a period when they were supposed to be in limited supply. After driving the 98 and a 94 the same day, I bought the 98 on the spot (my wife twisted my arm - said I deserved it!). A month after taking delivery in June of 98, my wife and I took a 1 week trip from Marlboro MA, to Bowling Green KY to visit the Corvette Assembly plant and Museum. The car ran flawlessly and averaged around 28 mpg on the HW over the 2500 mile trip!
